Permanent

Full time (37 hours per week)

“You know what? You’d love it here.”

That’s what I said to a friend the other day when they asked what it’s like working in HR at bpha. And I meant it. We’re growing, we’ve got big plans, and right now we’re looking for someone to join our brilliant People team as an HR Advisor.

It’s a full-time, permanent role, and we work in a hybrid way—with the expectation that we’re in the Bedford office at least two days a week. It’s a great balance: enough time together to collaborate, share ideas, and stay connected, while still having the flexibility to work from home when it makes sense.

What’s the team like?

Honestly? Supportive, collaborative, and full of energy. We’ve got each other’s backs, and we’re always sharing knowledge and ideas. You’ll be part of a team that genuinely cares about doing great work and helping each other grow.

What will you be doing?

You’ll be the go-to for all things people-related—supporting managers and colleagues with a positive, pragmatic approach. There’s plenty of variety, from ER casework to getting stuck into wider HR projects and initiatives. If you like rolling up your sleeves and making a difference, you’ll fit right in.

What kind of person are we looking for?

Someone who’s confident with ER case management, can juggle priorities, and keeps things moving with a solutions-focused mindset. Communication is key—whether it’s a quick Teams chat or a detailed email, we value clarity and empathy. You’ll also need to be CIPD Level 3 qualified and comfortable working independently, knowing your team is right there when you need them.

And the perks?

Oh, there are plenty:

  • 28 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays)

  • Generous pension scheme

  • Private healthcare

  • Life assurance

  • Wellbeing tools (including a digital gym!)

  • Learning and development opportunities

  • Retail and gym discounts

  • Hybrid working

A quick note:

If you’re reading this and thinking, “I’m not sure I tick every box,” please don’t let that stop you. We’d still love to hear from you. Sometimes the best people don’t fit the job spec perfectly—but they bring something even better.

Sound good?

Then let’s chat. But don’t wait too long, we might close early if we find the right person.
